About the event

Did you know that there is an organization in NE Minneapolis that provides free Creative Arts Therapy to youth in the community??? Thank you East Side Neighborhood Services!

So excited to host this fundraiser on Sunday, May 19th as an unofficial Art-a-Whirl festivity at The Barber Sharp (same block as 331 Club - who happen to be hosting a vintage and makers market all day).

Join us for this sweet sweet day of music and all donations go to fund creative arts therapy for inner city youth. All merch sales go to artists. BYOB, weather permitting, let’s vibe for sun!

Deep respect and gratitude for each of these artists! Set times are loose, 2-4 songs each, come for all of it!

“Creative Arts Therapy (CAT) is the intentional use of artistic processes such as drama, art, or music to achieve therapeutic goals … The Youth Department at East Side Neighborhood Services provides free preventative and needs-based programming through trauma-informed individual and group creative arts therapy … Creative Arts Therapy helps facilitate growth in many personal areas, such as enriching self-esteem and interpersonal skills, promoting healthy coping mechanisms, and encouraging healthy risk-taking.”

Feel free to donate directly to East Side Neighborhood Services ~  link below ~ or throw in our buckets at the show!
